This
made-for-TV movie is sort of a remake of the 1971 movie, with most of the
similarities being the character names and the Dodge Challenger car. Jimmy
Kowalski (Viggo Mortensen) is delivering the car to a customer many miles
from home when he finds out his sickly wife is giving birth to their first
child. As he races home he is arrested for his excessive speed.
He
escapes the police, but the FBI and law enforcement from the four states
he runs through are hot on his trail. Don plays a sheriff who puts the
power-hungry FBI agent in his place.
