DON COLLIER'S MOVIES Safe at Home (1962)
Directed by Walter Doniger When Don made this picture, he had three boys at home, and two of them were about the age of Bryan Russell, who plays his son Hutch in this movie. It doesn't even look like Don was acting...he was just playing himself, a devoted and loving father. The movie is about a young boy who runs away to visit the New York Yankees training camp, where he gets to meet such greats as Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle. Wonderful movie!
